Marshall’s arm injured in vacation incident Denver Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall appeared in court Monday with a jacket slung over his shoulder, covering part of a large cast and sling on his right arm.
Marshall, whose trial for a DUI charge was pushed back to June 18, couldn’t participate in the team’s first organized offseason workout Monday because of the injury. His explanation for how it happened is about as unusual as one will find in the NFL. Marshall said he was on a family vacation last weekend in Orlando, Fla., and woke at 7 a.m. to get a drink of water.
